Founded in 2017, Prysm Edition is the collaboration of two artists, Sébastien Roulet and Arthur Marcelja. Based in Marseille, they practice graphic image design using screen printing in their studio. With their strong visual identity, they are active and regularly collaborate within the Marseille art scene. Moving from the role of artisan printers to that of graphic designers, their practice draws on skills related to the creation of screen-printed graphic objects. As their name suggests, they approach the image through various methods, both digital and analog. This constant back-and-forth guides them through experimentation, error, repetition, and layering. It is an empirical yet sensitive way of showcasing screen printing, pushing its boundaries and opening new artistic avenues.
