About this artwork

This work draws inspiration from the architecture and brick patterns characteristic of buildings in Łódź, Poland. Through a play of repetition, rhythm, and modular structures, the composition evokes the industrial rigor and urban identity of the city. Typography becomes architecture, translating the materiality, cadence, and memory of the facades into a contemporary graphic language.

Meet Yuliya Ratnikova

A graphic designer specializing in branding, visual identity, posters, and experimental typography. His posters are the result of experimentation with various effects, textures, layering, and the use of bold colors. His work is regularly featured in poster festivals, including the Warsaw International Poster Biennial and the Intercontinental Biennale, among others.
